CSVLint

Description

CSVLint.io is a web-based CSV validation service hosted by the Open Data Institute (ODI). It checks for structural errors like inconsistent rows, quote issues, missing headers, invalid encoding, or whitespace problems. You can upload a CSV directly or provide a URL, and optionally supply a JSON schema (using CSVW or Data Package standards) for validating column structure and data types. The tool offers detailed error, warning, and info feedback, along with flexible dialect control for delimiter, header presence, and more. Shared files are deleted immediately after processing to preserve privacy, and only anonymized validation reports are retained.
